Tazan was founded by Abdulhamid Rafii Amir, a young Tanzanian entrepreneur, in 2018, when he was just 19 years old. Today it operates across tourism, retail and electronics, automotive services, and community development.
While at college, Abdulhamid started selling food to fellow students. With limited resources but a strong desire to build something of his own, he began serving one customer at a time.
